A hood you can pull in, and four pockets that zip
The hood runs on a drawcord, so it closes round the face when the weather turns and sits flat when it does not. Inside it is lined in an open mesh rather than a solid panel, which is what keeps the head from getting clammy on the walk back. The shell is cut to the hip and every one of the four pockets closes with a zip, two at the chest and two at the hand.
